The City of El Paso de Robles Water Department provides water for about 31,398 residents living in the Paso Robles area, California. Established in 1889, the City of Paso Robles collects supply from two water sources, 19 groundwater wells and surface water from Lake Nacimiento. Eleven of the wells pump from the deeper portion of the Paso Robles Groundwater Basin while eight wells located near the Salinas River pump from the river underflow.

Lead Report (2019)

A

WaterZen Rating

Lead levels in the drinking water of some cities across the United States are too high, potentially creating public-health issues for the people living in those areas.

What about Paso Robles Water? How much lead is in your drinking water? And how do those levels compare to other cities in the state? We examined data from hundreds of cities across the nation to understand and grade your water quality.

As you can see, Paso Robles Water received the best-possible grade because the amounts of contaminants found in the water supply were better than the Public Health Goal and most other water providers we've analyzed.
