The Richland Township Water Authority provides water services to about 6,800 residents living in the Richland Township and Quakertown area in Buck County. Richland Township Water Authority collects water from five Wells, which include Well SB1, Well SB2, Well RC1, and Walnut
Bank Wells 1 & 2. The Wells draw groundwater from the Brunswick Formation and Diabase, and the water is disinfected with chlorine. The Water Department maintains a 750,000-gallon water storage tank and distributes water to 2,397 service connections.
