The Wareham Fire District provides water for about 20,748 residents living in the Wareham area. Established in 1739, the Wareham Fire District collects water from seven gravel packed wells within the Plymouth-Carver sole source aquifer. The wells are located in isolated areas of Maple Springs and Seawood Springs.
