The Town of Wilmington Water & Sewer Division, under the Town Public Works Department, provides water for about 22,325 residents living in the Wilmington area, Massachusetts. Established in 1730, the Town of Wilmington Water uses local sources and purchases its water supply from the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA). MWRA's water comes from the Quabbin and Wachusett Reservoirs. Water from the Ware River can also add to the supply at times.
