The Walker County Water & Sewerage Authority (WCWSA) provides water for about 36,000 residents living in the area of Flintstone, Georgia. Established in 1977, the Walker County Water Authority currently obtains its supply from a combination of sources: surface water drawn from the Walker County Water Treatment Plant (WTP); and groundwater from wells that pump from the Coke Oven Wells (COW) and the Kensington Wells (KEN).
