The City of Blackshear Water, operated by Tindall Enterprises, Inc., supplies water to about 4,455 residents living in the Blackshear area of Pierce County, Georgia. Blackshear Water Department collects water from three wells, 618 to 812 feet deep, pumping from the Upper Floridan Aquifer. Well 101 is on Nichols Street, Well 103 is on Carter Avenue, and Well 104 is on Bowen Road, the Wells are treated, chlorinated, and fluoridated to improve the water quality.
