The Perry Utilities, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works, provides water for about 28,132 residents living in the area of Perry, a city in Houston and Peach counties in Georgia. Established in 1823, the City of Perry Utilities Water System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources, including five wells at various locations around the City that pump from the Cretaceous Sand Aquifer beneath the system area.
