The City of Bremen Water supplies water to about 6,200 residents living in the Bremen area of Haralson County, Georgia. Bremen Water Department collects surface water from Beech Creek Basin at the City's Treatment Plant on Waterworks Road and Bush Creek Basin on Asa Cash Road. Additional water is purchased from the Haralson County Water Authority, which pumps from the Tallapoosa River and Sims Wells and also buys from the City of Anniston. The water undergoes a series of treatment processes, including coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration, and is disinfected with chlorine to improve its quality.
