The Sardis Water Association, a public community water system, provides water for about 13,752 residents living in the area of Mabelvale, a neighborhood in the southern part of Little Rock (Pulaski County), Arkansas. Established in 1972, the Sardis Water Association System currently obtains its supply from a blend of sources, including six deep groundwater wells that pump from the Wilcox Group Aquifer to two water treatment plants in Sardis; and purchased treated surface water from Central Arkansas Water whose water supply is from two lakes, Lake Winona and Lake Maumelle.
