The Hope Water & Light Commission supplies water to about 11,500 residents living in the Hope area of Hempstead County, Arkansas. Founded in 1957, Hope Water & Light Commission collects surface water from the Little River and treats it at a facility in Fulton. The Commission also obtains water from nine wells - six wells are sited in the Oakhaven area and draw from the Tokio Aquifer, while three are in the Hope City limits and pump water from the Nacatoch Aquifer.
