The Vilonia Waterworks, a public community water system, provides water for about 23,177 residents living in the area of Vilonia, Arkansas. Established in 1938, the Vilonia Waterworks Water System is currently obtaining its supply from a blend of sources: treated surface water (Greer’s Ferry Lake) via purchase from Community Water System and Lonoke-White PWA; and purchased water from the Mid-Arkansas Utilities, which uses a blend of treated surface water (Lakes Winona and Maumelle) from Central Arkansas Water and groundwater from 12 wells in the Quaternary System Aquifer via Jacksonville Waterworks.
