Dallas Rural Water District supplies water to about 6,125 residents in Dallas City, Adrian, Burnside, Colusa, and Ferris, Henderson County. Founded in 1991, Dallas Rural Water District collects water from nine wells, which pump groundwater from an underground aquifer in Lomax and a wellfield located south of Warsaw Illinois. The water is treated and distributed through approximately 680 miles of water mains to over 2,300 customers.
