The City of Canton Water Department provides water for about 14,700 people living in the Canton area, Fulton County, Illinois. The City of Canton purchases water from a municipally owned and operated Water Treatment Plant and distribution system. The water is sourced from two options - Lake Canton and its two surface water intakes (IEPA #58089 and # 01374) and radial collector well (IEPA #01853) located at 19847 N. Banner Dike Rd.
