The Luttrell-Blaine-Corryton Utility District supplies water to about 3,600 residents in the Luttrell area of Union County. Founded in 1964, the Luttrell-Blaine-Corryton Utility District maintains three water plants, 14 booster pumping stations, and about 240 miles of water mains and provides both groundwater and surface water types. The groundwater sources include Booker Springs, Big Springs, and Wyrick Springs, while the surface water comes from Phipps Springs on Tazewell Pike and the Holston River.
