The Mount Pleasant Water System #1 supplies water to about 9,831 residents living in the Mount Pleasant area of Maury County, Tennessee. The Water System collects water from natural springs in the south and southeast of the City of Mount Pleasant, which provide groundwater under the influence of surface water, and supplements it with an additional water supply from the Columbia Water System.
