The Bluffdale Water Department provides culinary water for about 12,000 residents living in the Bluffdale area. Established in 1848, the Bluffdale Water Department purchases from Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District (JVWC), which uses about 90% surface water via the Provo River System, and 10% groundwater (aquifer).

Consumer Confidence Water Quality Reports

Copper & Lead Report (2019)

A

WaterZen Rating

Lead and copper levels in the drinking water of some cities across the United States are too high, potentially creating public-health issues for the people living in those areas.

What about Bluffdale Water? How much lead and copper are in your drinking water? And how do those levels compare to other cities in the state? We examined data from hundreds of cities across the nation to understand and grade your water quality.

As you can see, Bluffdale Water received the best-possible grade because the amounts of contaminants found in the water supply were better than the Public Health Goal and most other water providers we've analyzed.
