Tomah Waterworks is a public community water system under the Water and Sewer Department of Public Works that provides water to about 9,192 residents living in Tomah, a city in Monroe County, Wisconsin. Founded in 1883, the Tomah Waterworks System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources. The water system has six wells, but only five are active and supply water at a capacity of 3,550 gallons per minute. These wells have depths ranging from 175 feet to 325 feet. Additionally, the system includes a one-million-gallon reservoir and a half-million-gallon tower.
