Brookfield has multiple water providers: Brookfield Water and Brookfield Water. This page provides information about Brookfield Water.

The Town of Brookfield Sanitary District No. 4 supplies water to about 6,419 residents living in the Brookfield area of Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Founded in 1988, Brookfield Sanitary District 4 collects water from six wells drawing groundwater from the shallow dolomite aquifer, and the water is filtered to remove iron and disinfected with chlorine to prevent microbial contaminants. The Town operates two water towers and two ground storage reservoirs.
