City of Ripon Utilities, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works, provides water to about 7,800 residents living in Ripon, in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. Founded in 1849, the City of Ripon Utilities System currently has groundwater sources, primarily four wells (but one well is temporarily out of service) that drill into the aquifer underneath the area. The depths of all wells range from 130 to 380 feet.
