The City of Brookfield Water Utility, under the City of Brookfield Water and Sewer Board and Common Council, provides water for about 29,070 residents living in the Brookfield area, Wisconsin. Established in 1954, the Brookfield Water Utility currently obtains its supply from a groundwater source, 22 wells throughout the City that pumps from the shallow Dolomite Aquifer.
