Camarillo Water Department

The City of Camarillo Water, under the City Department of Public Works, provides water for about 39,676 residents living in the area of Camarillo, California. Established in 1964, the City of Camarillo Water Department is currently obtaining its supply from a combination of sources: about 39% local groundwater pumped from the Fox Canyon Aquifer via four city wells blended with approximately 61% imported water from the Calleguas Municipal Water District, which is water from the Northern California State Water Project and Colorado River.
