Oak View has multiple water providers: Casitas Municipal Water District and Casitas Municipal Water District - Ojai Water System. This page provides information about Casitas Municipal Water District.

Casitas Municipal Water District, a public community water system under the local government, provides water to about 11,042 residents living in Oak View, an urban community in Ventura County, California. Founded in 1952, Casitas Municipal Water District System currently obtains its supply from a combination of groundwater and surface water, and both are treated before being made available to the general public. Lake Casitas, which is close to the intersection of Santa Ana Road and Highway 150, received runoff from Santa Ana Creek and Coyote Creek, which are part of Lake Casitas' direct catchment. The Robles Diversion Canal is used to divert water from the upper Ventura River as well. Groundwater is obtained from the Mira Monte well, which is located in Mira Monte.
