The City of Clinton Water supplies water to about 7,128 residents living in the Clinton area of De Witt County, Illinois. The City's Water Division collects water from community water supply wells - Wells #10, #11, and #12, located in Kiwanis Park, drawing from the Mahomet Aquifer. The water is treated at the City of Clinton's Treatment Plant, which uses a Claricone filter system and lime softening technique to produce potable water, approximately 1.75 million gallons per day.
