The City of Inglewood Water Services, under the City Public Works Department, provides water for about 84,448 residents living in the Inglewood area, California. Established in 1908, the Inglewood Water Services provide for the 86% of the residences and businesses in the City with water pumped from City-owned wells and blended with water purchased from the West Basin Municipal Water District (WBMWD) through Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD). The Golden State Water Company and Cal America Water provide for the remaining 14% of the area.
