East End Water Improvement District No. 1, a public community water system under the local government, provides water to about 5,954 residents living in Little Rock, Saline County, Arkansas. Founded in 1835, the East End Water Improvement District No. 1 System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources, primarily four wells that drill into the Sparta Sand Aquifer underneath the area.
