The City of Geneva Water Department provides water for about 21,495 residents living in the Geneva area, Illinois. Established in 1887, the City of Geneva collects water from a groundwater source, seven wells, four of which utilize a sand and gravel aquifer, while the remaining three utilize a deep bedrock aquifer.
