The City of Glendora Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works, provides water for about 44,444 residents living in the area of Glendora, California. Established in 1911, the City of Glendora Water System is currently obtaining its supply from a blend of three sources: groundwater from the Main San Gabriel Basin, filtered surface water from the Covina Irrigating Company (CIC), and filtered surface water from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD), which is State Water Project water from northern California and water from the Colorado River Aqueduct.
