Grafton Waterworks supplies water to about 11,989 residents living in the Grafton area of Ozaukee County. Grafton Waterworks collects water from five active deep wells that draw water from the Niagara Dolomite Aquifer. The water system has around 66 miles of water mains and three water towers and has a capacity of 4 million gallons of water per day. The water treatment for all wells includes chlorination and adding fluoride.
