The Grand Prairie Bayou Two Public Water Authority is a public community water system that provides water to about 11,150 residents living in Austin, a city in Lonoke County, Arkansas. Founded in 1981, Grand Prairie Bayou Two Public Water Authority System currently obtains its supply from multiple sources: groundwater supply from six alluvial aquifer wells, two Sparta Sand aquifer Wells, and purchased surface water supply from Jacksonville Water Works, which also has mixed sources: 12 wells, Quaternary System Aquifer, and purchased surface water from Central Arkansas Water (CAW), which receives from two sources: Lake Winona and Lake Maumelle. Both Lake Winona and Lake Maumelle supply the regulating Jackson Reservoir located in Little Rock. Additionally, Grand Prairie Bayou Two PWA also purchases water from Lanoke-White Public Water Authority obtained from Greer's Ferry Lake.
