The Village of Hampshire Water supplies water to about 5,563 residents in the Hampshire area of Kane County, Illinois. Hampshire Water Department collects water from three active groundwater wells located on 17N588 Harmony Road, 1400' W of State St. & W. Rinn Avenue in Hampshire IL, and South of Barn Owl Drive. The water is treated with fluoride to promote strong teeth and disinfected with chlorine to control microbes.
