Hixson Utility District

The Hixson Utility District provides water for about 67,138 residents living in the area of Hixson, Tennessee. Established in 1941, the Hixson Utility District currently obtains its supply from a groundwater source, two different well fields the Chickamauga watershed, a Cambrian-Ordovician carbonate underground aquifer.
