The Water Utility Special Service Districts in Wasatch County regulates water distribution for about 2,388 total residents living in the Heber City area through Jordanelle Special Service District (JSSD). JSSD is a privately held company established in 2011. JSSD currently services wholesalers and retailers where 90% of its supply are from ground water (Ontario No. 2 Drain Tunnel via Keetley Water Treatment) and 10% from deep underground aquifers and wells through-out the Jordanelle basin.
