The Lake County Public Works - Wildwood Subdivision provides water for about 13,965 people living in the Wildwood area, Lake County, Illinois. The Lake County Water Department purchases water from the Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency (CLCJAWA), an intergovernmental cooperative formed by the communities it serves. The CLCJAWA's water is drawn from Lake Michigan and treated at the Paul M. Neal Water Treatment Facility in Lake Bluff. The water delivery system consists of 58 miles of water main, one water tower, and two storage reservoirs with a total capacity of 1.6 million gallons.
