The Morris Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Water and Utility, provides water for about 13,926 residents living in the area of Morris, a city in Grundy County, Illinois. Established in 1842 and officially incorporated in 1850, the City of Morris Water System currently obtains its supply from four deep wells located within the city limits that pump water from the Galesville Sandstone Aquifer.
