The Oconomowoc Utilities, a public community water system under the City Water Division of the Department of Public Utilities, provides water for about 15,805 residents living in Oconomowoc, a city in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Established in 1899, the Oconomowoc Utilities System currently uses six groundwater wells to supply water through four entry points. Five of the wells are drilled deep into the Sandstone Aquifer and the sixth well obtains water from the shallow sand and gravel formation.
