The Rincon Del Diablo Municipal Water District supplies water to about 28,689 residents living in the Escondido area in San Diego County, California. The water supplied by the MWD is sourced from the Colorado River through Lake Havasu and Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta from North Carolina. The water is also supplemented from Twin Oaks Valley Water Treatment Plant (TOVWTP), a blend of water from SDCWA, and desalinated water from Carlsbad Agua Hedionda Lagoon.
