The Village of Romeoville Water, under the Village Department of Public Works, provides water for about 52,000 residents living in the area of Romeoville, Illinois. Established in 1958, the Village of Romeoville Water is currently obtaining its supply from a blend of ground water sources: five deep and seven shallow wells located throughout the Village that pump water from the Silurian dolomite and Cambrian-Ordovician aquifers beneath Will County.
