The Village of South Elgin Water & Sewer Division provides water for about 21,985 residents living in the South Elgin area, Illinois. Established in 1854, the City of South Elgin collects its supply from a groundwater source, ten wells consist of a combination of shallow and deep wells that draw water from a variety of aquifers beneath the village area.
