St George City Water Department
The City of St. George Water Division, under the City’s Utilities Department, provides water for about 80,000 residents living St. George area, Washington County, Utah. Established in 1965, the St. George City Utilities Department collects water from various sources including springs, wells, and surface water through Washington County Water Conservancy District. Spring water comes from the Mountains Springs on Pine Valley Mountain and the surface water comes from the Virgin Rivers, stored in Quail Creek and Sand Hollow Reservoirs. The groundwater is sourced from wells located in the Gunlock area and Snow Canyon State Park. Each year, 10 billion gallons of water are distributed to homes and businesses.

The information in this report includes the source of your water, whether your water meets EPA standards, detailed tables of detected contaminants, detailed descriptions of those contaminants, possible reasons why they're present, and potential health effects (if any).
