The Town of Normal Water Works, a public community water system under the Town Water Department, provides water for about 44,197 residents living in the area of Normal, Illinois. Established in 1867, the Town of Normal Water Works is currently obtaining its supply from a ground water source, 13 wells throughout the town that pump water from the Banner (MahometSankoty Aquifer) and Glasford & Wedron Formations.
