The Utilities Department of West Point City, Davis, under the Division of West Point City Public Works provides water for about 8,288 residents living in the West Point area, except those under the Hooper Water District (western part of the city). Established in 1935, the West Point City culinary water system includes a one-million gallon pump-controlled reservoir fed directly from the Weber Basin Water Conservation District.
