The City of Kingsville Water, under the City Public Works Department, provides water for about 29,947 residents living in the area of Kingsville, Texas. Established in 1904, the City of Kingsville Water Department currently obtains its supply from a combination of sources: groundwater from seven active wells drilled into the Goliad Sands Aquifer; and surface water purchased from South Texas Water Authority, which uses Corpus Christi Lake and Choke Canyon Lake.
