The City Of Brownfield Water Department is a member of the Canadian River Municipal Water Authority (CRMWA) serving about 9,800 residents of Terry County who live in the Brownfield area, Texas. The CRMWA's lake provides the Water Department with around 500 million gallons of water, which it supplements with water from 14 wells in the Ogallala Aquifer via its two pump stations.
