The City Of Buda Water supplies water to about 11,530 residents living in the Buda area of Hays County. Founded in 1954, the City Of Buda Water collects groundwater from wells that draw from the Edwards Aquifer and surface water from Canyon Lake that comes via the Guadalupe River. The City Of Buda Water System has 47 miles of water mains, three elevated tanks, booster pump stations, two standpipe tanks, and four ground storage tanks.
