The City Of Anna Water supplies water to about 18,297 residents in the Anna area, Collin County, Texas. The City Of Anna Water collects groundwater from seven deep wells and purchases surface water from the Greater Texoma Utility Authority (GTUA) through a joint agreement with North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD). The surface water originates from Lavon Lake, Lake Texoma, Lake Tawakoni, and Jim Chapman Lake (Cooper Lake).
