The City Of Anna Water collects groundwater from seven deep wells and purchases surface water from the Greater Texoma Utility Authority (GTUA) through a joint agreement with North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD). The surface water originates from Lavon Lake, Lake Texoma, Lake Tawakoni, and Jim Chapman Lake (Cooper Lake).
