The Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 supplies water to about 9,526 people living in the Trophy Club and Westlake Cities in Denton County. Founded in 1975, the Trophy Club MUD 1 utilizes a blend of groundwater and surface water from different sources, including Lake Worth, Eagle Mountain Lake, Lake Bridgeport, Richland Chambers Reservoir, Cedar Creek Reservoir, Clear Fork Trinity River, and four wells that pump from Paluxy and Trinity Aquifers.
