The Floral City Water Association, Inc. provides water services to about 5,617 residents in the Floral City neighborhood, including Floral City Elementary School, Withlapopka Island, and Duval Island in Citrus County, Florida. Founded in 1969, Floral City Water Association, Inc. obtains water from four wells that pump groundwater from the Floridian Aquifer into the City's two separate treatment facilities where the water is subjected to aeration, filtration, and chlorination treatment processes to improve its quality before it is distributed to the customers.
