The Bagdad-Garcon Point Water System, Inc. supplies water to about 8,225 residents living in the Milton area of Santa Rosa County, Florida. Founded in 1972, the Bagdad-Garcon Point Water System obtains groundwater from three wells pumping from the Sand and Gravel Aquifer and treats it with chlorine and lime/phosphate for disinfection and pH adjustment. During emergencies, the Water System purchases treated water from the Peace Water System through an interconnection on Avalon Boulevard.
