The City of Homestead Water, under the City Department of Public Services, provides water for about 70,000 residents living in the area of Homestead, Florida. Established in 1913, the City of Homestead Water is currently obtaining its supply from a ground water source, two well fields located at the City’s two water treatment plants (Wittkop Park and Harris Field), which draw water from the Biscayne Aquifer.
