The City of Palm Bay Water, under the City Utilities Department, provides water for about 114,587 residents living in the Palm Bay area. Established in 1960, the Palm Bay City Water collects water from groundwater that is obtained from 42 wells located throughout the City, drawn from the Floridan Aquifer. These raw water wells provide water to Palm Bay Utilities Department’s water treatment facilities.
